James C. Hurt founded Hurt Financial Services in 2001, after spending four years with Morgan Stanley, Inc., one of the world's largest financial services companies. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Mr. Hurt spent 21 years on active duty with the United States Army. Mr. Hurt is dedicated to developing lasting relationships with his clients. He believes in helping each client become confident in assessing his or her financial goals and participation in the financial management process. The benefits in working with Mr. Hurt are his ability to provide clear, easily understood explanations of financial products and services. His firm will assist in providing the roadmap to a more secure financial future.
Mr. Hurt holds the Series 7, General Securities Registered Representative's License, as well as the Series 31, 63, 65, along with Life and Health Insurance License. Mr. Hurt has been an investor since 1981. Since 1998 he has received significant training in the areas of Retirement Planning, Estate Planning, Insurance Services and Investment planning as well as much participation in various investment forums, conferences and due diligence meetings. He is a graduate of University of Alabama in Birmingham.
